'The Revenant' wins top prize at British Academy Film Awards

Sarah-Jane Crawford attends the British Academy Film Awards ate Royal Opera House in London on Sunday, February 14.  "Revenant" became the main victor on a night honoring BAFTA otherwise relatively evenly spread-out that saw 14 films emerge with prizes. The film won the Best Film Award, Best Director and Best Actor awards, along with the best sound and best cinematography. "Mad Max: Road Rage" won four awards, while «Carol,« which had led the nominations were among the few titles excluded completely. Stephen Fry was, again, the main host of the evening, but the other presenters included Tom Cruise, Idris Elba (who lost in a Best Supporting Actor to Mark Rylance) and Cuba Gooding Jr..
